It was a hot day in Springfield, Oregon. A day that no one wanted to go outside on. Except for Lisa Simpson. She ventured outside to walk to the library, alone. The journey to the library was no big danger. She survived, but her shoes were starting to melt on the heated pavement. One hour later, Lisa emerged from the library, two new books in her hands. She started home, her shoes melting more and more in the Heat Wave. When she was halfway home, her melted, sticky shoes stuck her to the pavement. She was stuck. "Oh, no! What'll I do?" she wondered. She knew that soon her shoes would melt clean through, leaving her barefoot on the almost boiling pavement. Just when she thought all hope was lost, help finally came. Noah Jagers, a Sophomore in High School who was completely unaffected by the Heat Wave, happened to be walking by. He knew Lisa through a friend of his mother's who's husband worked with Lisa's dad, Homer. Noah knew that Lisa needed help. Quickly, he ran to Lisa. "Lisa, I'm going to help you out. I'm gonna pull you out of this sticky mess." he said. "But won't my feet get burned?" Lisa asked. "No. I'll just carry you to your house." Noah said, pulling. With a schlepping sound, Lisa was free. Noah held her bridal style and ran. He knew where Lisa lived. He passed her house on his way to school every day. He opened Lisa's door and set her on the couch. "There you go, Lis. Home safe and sound." Noah said, trying to sneakily look at Lisa's bare feet, which were quite cute. But Lisa noticed and she didn't care. She liked the attention. "You deserve some kind of reward." Lisa told Noah. "Like what?" Noah asked. "How about you give me a foot rub?" Lisa asked. (Will Noah accept? You decide.)
Of course, there'd probably still be some sticky residue from her shoes cooling and congealing on her feet, must make sure they're clean first.
